Bid & Tender Talent Advisory

HomeBid & Tender Talent Advisory
Renewable energy tenders place specific and often rigid requirements on personnel.

Roles, qualifications, registrations, and experience thresholds are usually prescribed in the tender documentation, and how those requirements are handled can directly impact the credibility of a submission.

We work across the renewable energy value chain, supporting Owners Engineers, EPCs, and other delivery-focused organisations during the pre-award phase, where CVs are required as part of a bid or tender submission.

As part of our Bid & Tender Talent Advisory, we support clients to:

– interpret and pressure-test tender personnel requirements
– advise where criteria are realistic, excessive, or incomplete based on current market conditions
– identify credible candidates who meet the intent of the requirement, even where exact combinations are scarce
– guide clients on how to position experience, qualifications, and role coverage without overstating or misrepresenting reality

Bid and tender work is high-intensity and time-critical, which is why we only take it on where there is exclusivity. In practice, this means that if the tender is awarded, the client gives Energy Africa Recruitment exclusive rights to recruit the specific roles covered under that tender submission.

The service is charged at a nominal fee per CV to account for the upfront work required under tight deadlines. If the tender is awarded and placements are made, those fees are offset against placement fees on a role-by-role basis, not as one bulk credit.
In other words, the CV fees attached to a specific role are credited back against the placement fee for that role.

This keeps the offset fair and directly linked to the work delivered per position.
The aim is simple: help clients submit credible, defensible bids that stand up to scrutiny — without damaging reputations in the market or creating delivery risk later.
